Great that you have chosen to continue with your learning of a second language. It will provide you with many benefits in your life, including increased job chances and of course the pleasure of being able to converse in anotyther language.
By the end of Year 10 you shall have covered
Topics: Teenage world-relationships, health, environment, drugs and politics, music, slogans and television.
Grammar: Tenses-present, future (with werden), Perfekt und imperfect. Use of man and passive.du-sie, colloquial expressions. All cases and adjective endings.
Your Assessment Tasks will include:
Listening, speaking and reading activities.
Workbook (written work/grammar).
Language assignments (1-2 semester).
Primary school sessions and preparation.
You will revise from Year 9
Grammar: perfect tense, present tense, modal verbs, comparative-superlative adjectives, stomp, sub/co-ordinating conjunctions, pronouns and adverbs of time, know how to form nominative, accusative and dative of articles and adjectives, accusative and dative prepositions.
And of course you will hear, read, watch and write lots of German
